Measurement Areas

  • Chest Girth: Measure the circumference at the widest part behind the front legs. Leave a 2–3 - finger space for a comfortable fit.
  • Neck Girth: Measure the circumference at the base of the neck. Keep a 1–2 - finger space for ease.

Fitting Standards

  • Shoulder Straps: Ensure they don’t restrict front - leg movement. Your pet should be able to lift paws and run freely without friction.
  • Underarm Fit: No gaps (to prevent 挣脱) and no skin irritation from rubbing.

Wearing Recommendations

  • Use the harness only under supervision. It’s not necessary for indoor wear.

Wearing & Inspection

  • Step - by - Step Wearing:Let your pet stand naturally. First, put the front legs through the straps, then fasten the back. Adjust so the chest strap lies flat against the chest, and the back strap doesn’t press on the shoulder blades.
  • Activity Testing:Simulate running, sitting, and jumping. Check for shifting or friction. Watch for hair - getting - caught risks under the arms and on the chest/abdomen.

Long - Term Observation

  • Initial Use: Check daily for skin redness or hair loss.
  • Growing Pets: Re - measure and adjust sizes every 2 weeks for young pets.
